Just go for it. Anyone can write a book, think about the genre that interests you the most and that you enjoy reading and then have a go. You need quiet time so you can think about the detail and then just write. I am a new author and one day I just decided I wanted to write a book, I am now currently working on writing my third book and I'm loving it.
