I think Alice has totally forgiven Tom. It is always best to forget wrongs in the past and move on – that is the way that relationships survive. She stays with Tom because she loves him. The boggart behaves like an ordinary pet cat because Alice is powerful too and they like each other.

Hi Joseph, I love reading your books and find it a pleasure reading them. Your new book that has yet to come out ‘the last spook’ is about the fiend coming back seeking revenge ? I loved the whole concept of the fiend but Alice and Toms whole life was trying to defeat him. To bring him back would mean all they did was for nothing. They also sacrificed so much and so I thought what is the point on bringing him back ?

I have seen, though previous comments, that you are planning on possibly making more stories in the County? I just want to say that I hope that is the case. I have bee a fan of The Spook stories ever since I was a fresman in Highschool (I'm 26 now) and have yet to find a series as interesting as the dark tales you put together. I just hope that there will be more! You are a great writer Mr. Delaney!
