Lauren Davis I haven't gotten far in this novel, but in the first or second chapter there is a subtle mention that marks one of the characters on the ship is trans.
Robert Hayes There's also an overheard conversation between dinosaurs, where the "romantic triangles" go there.
Anthony I think one of the crew members is trans. There is a mentioning early on that they are on hormone therapy.
George Well, one of the characters talks about his "moms", apparently meaning the two (or just possibly more) women who are his parents. But that's pretty much it. Now, if there were a Q on the acronym, it might cover the interspecies romance; but that's presented as het ... even tho it's thus hyper-het, right?

I urge you to complain to whatever source slapped that label on this.
