Who has read both Book Woman, by Kim Michele Richardson which came out first and Mrs. Moyes' book, and what is your take on this controversy?

It is better writing, captures the time and place with better description, provides far more information on the project and the blue skin people of Kentucky, all with a better story line. Giver of Stars is a charming story and offers a glimpse of what kind of women worked as pack horse librarians but the story is a bit of froth, more like a chick lit sort of piece, and the whole mystery aspect of the story is poorly narrated or resolved.
