Jaye I think that the souvenir from Hannah was the fact that she discouraged affectionate and love between Jo and her mother.
Nessie Yea the books just rolling right along then next thing I know the ending credits are playing. Didn't like the ending seemed to me like the story just dropped to end the book quickly.
Holly I was confused about the souvenir too......plus they never resolved the whole art fraud deal?
Linda Frances I agree with Laura's answer. Jo realized how Hannah had poisoned her relationship with her mother.
Melissa Laura's answer. I'm going with that.
Dianne I loved the ending! Jo had an inclination to flinch away from her mother's affection due to Hannah's intention to drive a wedge between them. It's a hard habit to break, hopefully that was the only "souvenir" left with Jo, but I imagine there will be a lot more to overcome in her relationship with her mom.
Neida Joseph-Abel I just mentioned the same! What was up about the souvenir? No idea and I rewound it like 5 times in my audio app but never really settled on anything concrete.
Jacky Torres I was left confused about the very last page
