I don't always write every day. Writing is a solitary occupation. Some days nothing comes to me. When that happens, I re-engage with the world around me. Sometimes it is reconnecting with friends, or other times it is walking in nature. The simple act of getting out of my head and having real tangible experiences gives me space to enter back into my writing world with a fresh perspective.
