I'm probably the thousandth person to ask this, but instead of daily sitting there in anxious terror, why didn't Jimmy, first thing every morning, simply enter the wrong door access code three times intentionally? Don't know if this is truly a spoiler, but to be on the safe side I've marked it as such.
