Confession! Because my novels traditionally are released in May or June, I travel most of the summer season for book tour. It's a thrilling but exhausting time, so I don't get much reading done.
Now, that the calendar has flipped to autumn, I'm in one place busily writing again. And back to reading. One book I had the honor of reading ahead of its Oct. 29th release date is TELL ME A STORY, by Cassandra King Conroy. It's a memoir about her marriage with the beloved writer Pat Conroy. Here's the quote I gave her book:
“Tell Me A Story is breathtakingly tender, heartbreakingly true...The best memoir I’ve read.”
I loved it and I highly recommend it! As for my TBR list, here it is:

Enjoyed reading "The Beach House" and "Swimming Lessons" for the stories and the turtle info. While loggerheads are the super stars in the books, I wanted to know if you've ever seen the other turtle you mention -- the leatherback -- in person. If so, what was that like?
