Nick asked this question about
Tools and Weapons: The Promise and the Peril of the Digital Age:
I'm listening to this book now and have about 15% left to go but have a strong feeling I either missed this or it won't be answered: throughout the beginning of this book, the author describes the Snowden disclosures as having caught him/Microsoft's legal team by surprise. He claims Microsoft wasn't knowingly working with the government, Snowden's disclosures claim Microsoft was. Is this discrepancy ever resolved?

I think in the sense that he admits MS was providing email services, messaging, etc to ICE.
