(view spoiler)[In Rush, Ava says "she’s the exact opposite of every single woman I’ve ever known you to be attracted to. And that’s a compliment.” But what was wrong with the type of girls Noah was with in the past? his ex Valentina in the book seemed nice, strong, confident and respectful- not bitchy at all! I liked her! (hide spoiler)]

Hi Eva, thanks for the comment. I think Ava's perception is more from her own perspective rather than Noah's. He has never been with a girl long enough for his family--esp. Ava--to presume she means anything more to him than a fling. But also, Charlotte is nice and respectful, but she's not necessarily super strong or confident. She's also a little out of her element to be among such wealth. I would also add that Ava herself is a flawed character who jumps to conclusions about love--a subject she knows nothing about and yet presumes to be an expert on like she does everything else. ;) I might be getting closer to writing her story in which everything she thinks she has control over gets turned on its head when she starts to lose control and her heart to someone else. <3

Miss Scott, The first book I read by you was Sugar & Gold and I was hooked. I loved you from there and I loved your book. You write such simple stories with magnificent and magical moments. You affected my life in a very positive way and you healed some part of me. If anyone asks me what is my fav book of yours, I would probably say every book I've read. So, thank you for writing the books. I love you?
