It's might confuse today's kid because there are no tablets, cell phones or computers. If a parent talks to the kid about the current things that are absent andstrip the old timey feel its going to have to today's kid ,it's pretty much a timeless story of a kid growing up. I'm a billion years old, so I don't remember when I read it, so recommended age range I'm gonna be terrible at. However, I read most of the Ramona books in the last few years, and she up there on the list of my favorite characters.(less)
