What is your favorite genre and favorite book?

Palmer Pickering I always loved fantasy and science-fiction, and I especially like when the two are combined, like in "Star Wars." That is why am writing a science-fantasy series (the Star Children Saga). One of the most impactful books for me in that crossover genre was Frank Herbert's "Dune." I need to read that again--the last time I read it was many years ago.
