I am enjoying the First Empire Series, but would like to refer back to the Revelations series to get even more out of the First Empire. Is there an online repository (similar to what exists for First Empire) of Revelations book summaries? Thank you
Michael J. Sullivan
Hey Dan, thanks for writing. Unfortunately, we've not put together "recaps" for the Riyria books as we have for the Legends of the First Empire series. Although even if we did, it wouldn't get down to the level of detail that you are referring to -- in that you would see some of the Easter eggs between the two series. It is on our list of things to do, though. Maybe we can get it done in the next month or so. Sorry, I don't have anything for you right now.

In regards to Kickstarter and the Disappearance of Winter's Daughter. I absolutely love having your previous books in hardcover and your Death of Dulgath kickstarter was handled so well. You've been updating the writing progress side of things over on the book page [and thanks for that!] but am wondering about how a Kickstarter and hence a hardcover, is looking? Thank you.

I know you said you don't plan to write a sequel to the Riyria books, and I understand because the ending is PERFECT. There's just one thing I'm curious about. Royce says that he wants to make better connections between humans and elves, but what about the dwarves? I know Royce says many times that he doesn't like them, but it doesn't really seem like a happy ending if dwarves are still left landless and persecuted.

Hey Mr. Sullivan! Just finished the Riyira Revelations, and one thing was nagging at me: Modina's entire rule was derived from her status as the Heir, but with the challenge that was officially proven to be false. Is this common knowledge? Has she been accepted as empress despite not being the Heir? And how do people view her adoption of a child not of her own 'divine' bloodline as her successor?
