I shipped her with Chaol so hard and then my heart was shattered after Crown of Midnight and his attitude really pissed me off in this book.
I didn't think I was going to like Rowan, in fact, I almost didn't continue on with this series because I knew she was going to get together with him and I was so against it. But, by the time I finished Heir of Fire, I was on board the Rowan and Aelin ship and this book really made it set sail for me. I love them so much more than I did her and Chaol. His character development throughout the series so far really changed my mind. I feel, Nesryn is better for him now.(less)
