This summer I coincidentally read "Summer" by Edith Wharton, published in 1917. I love this book as well as her book "Ethan Frome." Two of my all time favorites. I've also been reading the books of Grace Livingston Hill, vintage books that are now naturally historical and very interesting and entertaining.
