I am gaining so much better of a perspective history from the writing in America's First Daughter. I love the story but would also would like to be able to separate the fact from fiction or at least understand how much of it is created. Is there an outline of that? I love the writing you and Stephanie Dray are doing together and definitely plan to read MY DEAR HAMILTON.

Hi there - if you haven't read the author's note, definitely do! That's where we explain a lot about what was historical fact and where we had to dramatize and why and how we did it. I'm so glad you enjoyed! Stephanie and I will be writing more Founding Mothers in the future!

My GGGGGGrandfather, Sir Alexander Mackenzie chronicled his adventures of the American Northwest .. President Thomas Jefferson read his book.. and it lead to the Louisiana Purchase! He then sent Lewis and Clark to explore his new purchase! Have you read his book, "Voyages from Montreal Through the Continent of North America to the Frozen and Pacific Oceans in 1789 and 1793"?
