Well, it would make becoming an Aunt and getting in and out of Gilead a lot easier if she were someone you didn't want hurt, killed, or in any way messed with. A normal girl would've been sold off as a wife, econo-wife, or hanged if she did what Nicole did. But since it WAS Baby Nicole, they let her get away with a lot more that an ordinary girl would've been allowed and guaranteed her not ending up hanging from the Wall.(less)
