I loved the book. I didn’t know about the movie. What is the title and where is it available?

Lisa Wingate The book has been optioned for a movie, or possibly a TV series. I have no updates on when it will be filmed and the title could always be different than the book. I don't know about that yet. I'm keeping my fingers crossed and will update this when I get more information.

So glad you loved the book! My non-fiction book of real-life stories of Georgia Tann adoptees and birth families is releasing October 22. Title is "Before and After".

Not so much a question, but I want you to know I read Before We Were Yours. This was my first novel of yours and I am hooked! This book was very haunting and one I choice to read in my book club. It created a lot of discussion. A great book I highly recommend to anyone! what would you suggest I read of yours next?

Hi Lisa, Who do I contact for permissions to quote a sentence from Before We Were Yours? I have written a memoir that deals with my aunt finding out that she was born under the Lebensborn program. In my book, I refer to a statement one of the characters made that justified all the emotional turmoil: "the best thing is to know… to know who you is." Thanks, Maddie
