This is not really a question I am afraid. I must admit that I only started to listen to your first Jackman book because of Armitage. Oh lord, that talented voice (and that face?!)... And then before I know it, I am in love with Jackman. Your writing makes it of course!! A reader is an armchair traveller. I have never been to that part of the UK but I feel that I know it thanks to you.

I'm thrilled to read this. Richard is such a brilliant actor and narrator and as I've met him a couple of times (lucky me!) I can tell you quite honestly, he's as lovely as he seems. When I heard that he would be narrating my books I was absolutely over the moon, and I was quite moved by the interest that he showed in them and the fact that he really wanted to get everything right. He even visited the fens to get a feel for what I was talking about. He's top rate, and I'm so lucky to have him for Jackman. By the way, I now 'see' Richard as DI Jackman as I write. That proves just how good he is! Many thanks for getting in touch, x

Hi Joy, Would it be possible if you could answer a few more questions? You do not have to answer all the questions but I would like to gather some more information. What advice would you give someone else who is suffering from ME? Has Sue Townsend influenced your work in any way? Can we expect more books to come? Thank you again for this. I will be sure to send you some of the work once it is completed!

I just love both series, but Nicki’s stories are wonderful. I’m reading Hidden on the Fens atm as an ARC. Just adore both series, the characters are so well rounded, they feel like family! I really don’t know how you think up such complex stories? I try and savour them, not read them too quickly. I also like the way the two series interact with each other, maybe Rory will help out Jackman or vice versa.
