I think having read it yourself, you could possibly pick out some of the stories/case studies and tell her about them- she might enjoy if you showed her some of the photos and told her a simplified version of the story, and it could be a gentle way to discuss the fact that lots of people get sick and get better, but that doesn't always happen.(less)
