Jamesy Robertson
Jamesy Robertson asked April Henry:

I have 3 questions 1. What was the night she disappeared based off, it sounds a bit like silence of the lambs. 2. Will there be a movie for it, I REALLY enjoyed it. 3. Do you recommend me any of your other books?

April Henry It was inspired by a real case in a neighboring town 30 years ago. I actually met the victim's cousin last year. For years, the authorities thought they knew who did it, a guy who committed suicide (no one knows why now).
But then a long time later a guy already in prison confessed that he and his buddy did it.

It has been optioned for film before, and that might happen again. Movies are expensive, so you're always lucky if one gets made.

The Girl I Used to Be, The Girl Who Was Supposed to Die, Girl Stolen - all have a similar flavor.

Thank you!
