Henderson Smith Hi Debbie, I'm so glad you enjoyed The Ugly Princess. I'd love to ask you a question since you mentioned your granddaughter. In this book, Betrayed by Beauty, Olive is up against her nemesis, Cassandra Dragon Slayer - an evil witch who has lived for 500 years and is the worst of all the world offers. You see, I want to take Olive into the world, which is not a nice place, unfortunately. Now, the character of Olive doesn't change in this book, nor her love for Bart BUT Cassandra is not Olive and is evil and rotten. I would rate this sequel PG-13, while The Ugly Princess is definitely PG. Would you find that offensive? Since Olive is now 18, I just thought her world would now be a more accurate reflection of the world she now finds herself. I'd love to hear your opinion.
