You have to remember that Alice really had no choice other than to leave Tom and work with Lukrasta. In exchange for being released from the dark she was forced to do so by Pan. She always hoped to save Tom somehow. By the end of 'The Spook's Revenge' the Fiend is destroyed. Then in 'Dark Assassin' Alice finally does save Tom.

I realize after asking my last question i have more just one question how long will it be before we get to see another book containing either Thomas ward, Alice Dean and/or Grimalkin after you get a publishing contract you need to actually get it put out there? God bless ---Jacob
