Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

A.E. Currie I've had the idea for a LARP state and a rough outline of the story for years but was never sure about the protagonist until I'd finished Utopia Five. I realised Lee Sands would be perfect for the role. I really wanted to see what would happen if Lee visited the place. It also fitted in well with the Panopticon series because it was another unreal world - although this time it wasn't virtual.
