Where did you get the idea for your most recent book?

Sarah Broughton From discovering the strange tale of the young woman from Cardiff who married Marlon Brando... I wanted to know how she made it from post-war Cardiff all the way to Hollywood and how she met Brando just after he'd won an Oscar for On the Waterfront - one of my favourite films... The story turned out to be stranger and more complex than I could ever have imagined so I decided to write a book about it.
