Did anyone else find it strange that Rosie and Penn seemed to never seek out any kind of therapy for their kids or even seemed to tackle problems head on with them? When they think Roo is a homophobe because of his school project they don't even seem to have a conversation with him about it. They get mad at him about his F but don't seem to address the important fact that they think he's a bigot (more in comments)

But certainly they should have followed through more with their son THEN instead of finally getting at the truth later. And yes, although Penn sought out support on-line, I felt like finding parents, and children, in a similar situation might have helped them all handle the ‘bumps in the road’. Poppy particularly needed support at age 10! (less)
