My question is, has there been a time you've devised that perfect character in some psychotic atmosphere and you echoed the words of Edgar Alan Poe, " I became insane, with long intervals of horrible sanity?" I ask because your work is so gripping I often lose myself in your books and feel a gratifying sense of insanity after finishing the book. The beauty of temporary escapism is a beautiful affair. Huge fan.

B.A. Paris Hi,
That's such an interesting question and I love that you feel a gratifying sense of insanity after finishing my book. I also love the words of Edgar Allen Poe and I think that maybe I got a little of that when I created Jack in Behind Closed Doors as he seemed to take on a life of his own. He became far more evil than I intended - he would do things and say things and sometimes, when I read over what I'd written, I didn't know where they'd come from. It was a strange, but very enthralling experience!
With best wishes
