DAVID WILSON
DAVID WILSON asked Werner A. Lind:

This question contains spoilers… (view spoiler)

Werner A. Lind David, my answer would have to come with the caveat that I don't have a lot of experience in mentoring new believers. (Much of my answer is based on what worked for me, or more often on what I could have benefitted from in hindsight.) And much of my advice is probably just common sense.

That said, I would encourage them to become active in a Bible-believing Christian church, and to form friendships with other Christians. Reading the Bible daily, even if it's only a few verses, and praying regularly (and through the day as needs arise) is important. I'd also recommend reading other books on Christian evidences, discipleship, and Bible study methods and background. And they should make it a conscious goal to obey God in daily life, and to cultivate an attitude of love towards other people (I John 4:20). Hope that helps!
