Hi Alwyn!! I first read Rebel of the Sands when I was a Junior in High School, I loved books but had fallen away from it due to school and friendships. Three years later after I read your series I fell in love with reading again :) Now I have a bookshelf full of books including your trilogy and I have read your work multiple times!! Hi Caitlin! Thanks so much for such a kind message! So glad to hear it was REBEL that brought you back into the books fold. And a re-read is the highest compliment ever! Thank you! Currently I'm working on THE NOTORIOUS VIRTUES which will be released May 2020 in the UK and US and I'm so so excited to share it! It's set in the same world as REBEL but very different. I pitched it as Grimm Fairytales meet 1920s New York Heiresses.

I have a few questions in the writing category.How long did the writing process, research and all, take for the first book?What step did you follow after plotting and research were completed?Did you use a set out plot line, or did the story lay out as you went?
