K.L. Loveley
K.L. Loveley asked James J. Cudney:

Hi James, how is the your geneology study progressing. I also have some interest in tracing my ancestors and have discovered my ancestors back to 1742 to my fifth generation great-grandparents. In addition I have had my gene profile checked and it appears that I am 60% English, Welsh and Northern European. 31% Scottish. 5% Norwegian ( those vikings get everywhere) 2% German and 2% Portugese. How about you?

James J. Cudney Hi. It's great to hear from you. 1742 is a great year; you've made lots of progress. Congrats. We have a similar background. Mine is going well. I decided to submit DNA to 23andMe because I hit too many blocks on one line in my family. I should know more later this month. From the Ancestry website, I am 43% English, 38% Irish/Scottish, 13% German, 6% Swedish/Finnish.
