Goodreads asked Cynthia Kraack:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Cynthia Kraack As a former journalist and a freelance writer, I don't really allow myself to have writer's block. When I don't have an active project I force myself to journal or work on short stories that might never be seen by others. When really pushed I might search for a good writers' prompt website and work through a few paragraphs.

Some days my writing might be some Tweets and Facebook posts or a blog. I don't write new fiction every day, more like three days a week. When I am writing I work long days-- 6 hours or more. On those other days I might be revising or working on marketing.
