I would also like to add that Katherine Center actually wrote a short story from Cassie's perspective about pulling the main character of How to Walk Away out of the plane and taking her to the hospital. It's called Girl in the Plane and I read it as an audiobook on scribd; not sure where else you can find it. (less)
