Okay so I have read all of K Slaughter's stand alone books, but have not read this series. Do I need to read them all before this book? If so, I better get started before this one comes out!

I recognized Will from a previous read years ago but never put it as a series. I read this one as a stand alone. I am sure I missed some interesting character development but this book handles their backgrounds quite nicely so I didn't feel I missed very much. I definitely hope this level of Troubled Will gets resolved soon. He could easily become a tragic hero.(less)
