Hi Andrew! I am A Marie Norwood the author of the children's book : CHARLOTTE. I read some of your book titled The Spider Ring and I really enjoyed it! I am glad to know that someone else is interested in doing spiders. Are you doing other works on spider also? What made you decide to write The Spider Ring?

Hi Andrea,
Thanks so much for your note and for the kind words. I'd say I channeled my love of villain origin stories like Gregory Maguire's Wicked while writing The Spider Ring; I wanted to write a story about a girl who, like Cinderella or Sleeping Beauty, received the favor of animals, only instead of squirrels and bluebirds, it was spiders. The Spider Ring is a standalone for now, but I have a YA novel called The Fascinators (written as Andrew Eliopulos) coming out next May.
