Ever-so-slight spoilers: the series is 4 guys and one girl. I don't know why they listed as 3 guys—maybe to avoid spoilers for the first half of book one? The fourth guy is introduced and instantly becomes a part of the harem in the first book and stays that way throughout the series. There are two guys in the harem who have their own M/M relationship, subtle at first then not by the last book.

Well first I'm pretty certain it is telling you this is a romance of three males, one female, because it is (though there is a hint that this isn't the full story either.) There is also a suggestion that there may be male on male action.
