Elizabeth Foster
Esme isn’t based off anyone in particular. However, of all the characters in the series, I probably identify most with her. I set out to write a female protagonist who could be strong while still being a little introverted, who uses her wits rather than physical strength to accomplish her goals (although I love warrior heroines, too!)

I absolutely love this series and loved Esme as she was very relatable for me. Thank you for creating her! I ended up reading the first book in two sittings and the second book in one sitting. Do you have a target in mind for the third book? I am very much looking forward to it!
