asked:
I have recently watched The Sisters Brothers movie and have been emotionally changed forever it seems. Is the book dissimilar or very similar to the movie? Is it a "What Dreams May Come" situation where both book and movie are very different from one another yet both are fantastic in their own right? Help.

Movie was true to the book in plot. The biggest difference is that the nature of the characters (Eli and Charlie) were changed to fit the casting of Phoenix and Reilly. Specifically, while the combined character of the brothers is true to the book, individual characteristics are reshuffled to fit the players.
