What was the most challenging about writing about wolves?

Olivia Wildenstein That's a very good question, Celia! I think the toughest part was getting the pack dynamics as close to actual wolf pack dynamics as possible, while at the same time, making sure my wolves didn't lose all their humanity while in their animal form.

But how did you do research to get the details and "vibe" right of a city you've not been to? I often dream of writing about places I'm in love with from afar, but just reading travel guides and travelogues doesn't really seem to be enough.
