Goodreads asked Robin Wainwright:

How do you deal with writer’s block?

Robin Wainwright I try switching it up. I usually write on my laptop in my writing room, so when I get stuck, I pick up a pen and paper and head outdoors. Sometimes that means that I head out to my local Starbucks. I wrote one of my favorite scenes while sitting in a Starbucks watching a wild thunderstorm raging outside.

The other thing I've done is skipped forward to write a different scene to see if that relaxes my creative muscle.
