How do you deal with writer’s block?

Jonathan Fields Weirdly, I don't really get writer's block. When I do struggle, it's almost always because I haven't been engaged with my non-writing life or done the research needed to be able to sit down and let my hands pour what's in me onto the page. That may also be because I write nonfiction. That may change in the future and I'm curious to see what happens when I take on the job of creating an entire world and characters within it.
