Jane Bartlett
Jane Bartlett asked Kate Stewart:

When I read this book, I wished for more personal, private details on each character. Did you not have access to such material or did you choose to omit those details? I've ask my group to read and discuss, "A Well Read Woman". When we gather in August, I would like to share with them some questions to stimulate their discussion. I have not found a discussion guide for the book. Do you have any suggestions for me?

Kate Stewart There was quite a bit more about Ruth I could have put into the book from her diary, but a lot of what she wrote in it was repetitive. I selected what I thought were the most interesting quotes and details. There was not much more I could have put in about other people, especially those who had passed away. I had limited information about them. I spent six years researching and writing-- I had to cut myself off at some point. I have some discussion questions here up on my website about the book: https://kate-stewart.com/discussion-q...
