First of all, thank you so much for loving my books. I'm thrilled to hear that you're making your way through my titles and that you're excited for more. That's wonderful! Regarding the On the Island movie: the project is stalled at the script stage and there's no way to know if it will ever move forward. I really hope it does because there are so many people (myself included) who would love to see Anna and T.J.'s story on the big screen. Rest assured, if anything happens with the project I'll announce it on my social media channels as soon as I get the go-ahead. In the meantime, I guess we'll have to keep our fingers crossed and be patient (which is hard for me!).

Hello! I just finished The Girl He Used to Know! Wow. Amazing. I am just wondering if you modeled the Annika character after someone with ASD or Fragile X Syndrome? It was interesting to me that her Dad had some of the same tendencies, common in a Father that carries the Fragile X gene. Your research and the details were so descriptive! Thank you for writing this book. It really touched me.
