I kn…moreI missed a whole bunch of King works because I got too wrapped up in life to read for a bunch of years, so If It Bleeds is my first Holly Gibney. I know SK himself loves the character, but I am hesitant.

I might change my opinion as I read the other works with Holly in them, but for now, I really don't like how mainstream she seems. She is too much like other literary sleuths and this felt formulaic other than the over-the-top SK creep elements.
Again, having not read the other works, I would be happy if she stopped here or steady only showed up every 3-4 years.(less)
