No surgeon ever said, "I can't operate. I have surgeon's block!" This is a manufactured problem. If you can't write -- read, research or brainstorm. Schedule your writing hours and find your "spot" to minimize non-creative times. Avoid net-surfing. Make reasonable writing goals. Don't be afraid to write badly. The objective is to get something down; you can clean it up or delete it later.
