Why did you gave Rival that title? "Rival: a person or thing competing with another for the same objective or for superiority in the same field of activity." I dont think it's because of the house (haha) or the parents (because both, Madoc and Fallon hate them) but I wonder :)

Penelope Douglas Rival refers to sibling rivalry. Madoc and Fallon never really got along...the back and forth in high school, the jealousy over Fallon making friends with Madoc's friends, the competitiveness over seeing who would get the upper hand in each situation, her seeking revenge and then abandoning him again. With the fighting and competition (and them being step-siblings), RIVAL fit :D
