Sharon Kay Penman Hi, Brittany. Your timing is excellent! For years, I've had to give a disappointing answer to this question, but at last I can say that Yes, there will be a new Justin de Quincy mystery on the way. In the past, my US publisher asked me to focus on the historicals since they sold better. But the mysteries are doing better in the UK than in the past--a change of publishers helped greatly! And I felt that I needed a change of pace after The Land Beyond the Sea. So the game plan is to do another mystery next, with the tentative working title, Serpent's Tooth. I am happy to report that a good deal of the action will be set in Wales.
