For me, the best thing about being a writer is the ability to tell a story that other people enjoy. There really is no other feeling like it when you write the perfect scene, the perfect dialogue sequence. You couldn't change or remove a word even if you wanted to. After all the hard work, hearing even one person appreciate your writing makes all of it worth it.
