How do you get inspired to write?

Jeannie Marie I have to clear my schedule and go to a place by myself for a few days, for each new chapter I write. We have free Sheraton points, so I wrote most of the chapters of this book in a lovely Sheraton room, in the still, clean, uncluttered, perfectly quiet place, where the world is shut away, all notifications on my laptop and phone turned off. I write and write and write late into the night, not looking at the time. I take naps when I feel like it. Go for a swim. Then right back to writing. It's so wonderful.
