I have been reading your books for the last thirty odd years as Marion Chesney and then as M.C. Beaton I like Agatha Raisin very much but my favourite detectives created by you are Lady Rose and Captain Cathcart are there are any more stores in the offing about these two

I am afraid the Edwardian detective series is finished. I felt inside me that it had run its course. Once I feel writing is becoming forced, I have to stop.

Your series are both family favorites. My elderly Mom and I read Death Of a Witch while she was dying in 2009. You were her favorite author and I am proud to have inherited her collection of all the Agatha and Hamish who I adore. Mom and I always wondered if you draw the characters in the books from real folks in the Cotswold's you know or your imagination. They are brilliant!

I absolutely LOVE your Agatha Raisin books! My two biggest questions are - do you have a favorite among her tales and would you like to see her marry Sir Charles someday? It's an HONOR to have an opportunity to ask you any questions about Agatha and I can't wait to pick up "Blood Of An Englishman"!!
