Hi there Sheila/Goldie! The characters in Dork Diaries and Max Crumbly are based off of REAL people! Nikki is a lot like my two daughters and Max’s love for comic books takes after my nephew. Each of my characters is a mix of people I’ve met and some of my imagination. I hope that answers your question, stay dorky!!
